Al & Linda teach beginner and intermediate Lindy Hop and Balboa at various venues in East Anglia.  The purpose is to promote and encourage the dance at social level by developing strong basics.

2. Learn to swing dance at Keir Hardie Hall, Norwich with the Swing City Collective on Mondays

 

The Swing City Collective is a collaborative effort to promote swing dance in Norwich

Doors open at 7:30pm.  Beginner Class commences at 7:45pm and an Improver class at 8:45pm, followed by freestyle

Entrance: only £5 per person

3. "Any Swing Goes"  Weekend Workshop: Friday 1 October to Sunday 3 October 2010 with Ursula Ader und Tobias Karsten

The "Any Swing Goes" are a fully residential workshop, where a single teaching couple work with a small group for the whole weekend.  We believe that this approach provides a much greater return than is achieved at the more usual multi-group, multi-teacher workshops.

 

4. Saturday 2 October Evening Swing Dance: Open to all.  From 8:00 to midnight(ish). £5 in advance or £7 on the door at The Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf and Country Club, Beech Avenue, Taverham, Norwich, NR8 6HP

 

We are pleased to welcome Ursula Ader und Tobias Karsten to be the guest teaches at the next "Any Swing Goes" weekend to be held at the The Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf and Country Club, in Norfolk, England

The weekend is intended for a small number of dedicated dancers.  We aim to keep a balance of leads and follows, but the group does rotate, so you do not need to book with a partner.  Attendees are expected to be comfortable with the basic Lindy moves, swing out, turn, circle and charleston and so is unfortunately not suited to beginners, but why not come along to the evening dance on Saturday 2 October.
